According to latest statistics, the count of centenarians in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
From 2004 and 2024, the figure of men aged 100 or over has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. During the same years, the number of female individuals reaching 100 nearly doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are excited to listen to those aged 100 or over, their family or companions, about what it has been like to experience the past century’s transformative changes and changes.
