Audiences of the acclaimed Game of Thrones series are able to circle their calendars—HOTD Season 3 is scheduled to premiere in late May, according to new reports.

Casey Bloys, chief of HBO and Max, publicly indicated that the program will likely launch outside of the awards timeline. This means, fans can expect the massive next chapter to be released around late May 2026.
How Truly Massive Will It Turn Out?
Showrunner Ryan Condal could not hold back when talking about the grandeur of the new season. He described it as, “goddamn massive.”
“Every day I explore the filming and observe the elements we're creating—the number of outfits, background actors, and more,” he added. “I was aware it was larger than the previous season, however I hadn’t grasped the extent.”
